OMG! curiouslyfic has started a comment meme with my favorite of all favorite things!!! Epistolary fic!!! A comment meme for letters to Santa from the staff, students, and parents of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. I know that everyone is swamped with the Holiday fests that are going on right now, but who doesn't have time to write a letter to Santa, huh?

Hey all!!! hpthemes has posted a new theme for reccing and it's VEELAS!!!! *squee* They're looking especially for non-H/D veela fics, but any and all welcome. Come on... who doesn't love a veela!fic? I'm heading off to recc, now....

Thirdly, and not very important...

I'm thinking of offering my services as a fic beta. I'm not convinced that I would be a good beta, but I've done it a few times. I have no idea whether I was actually helpful or not. Diving into the beta world seems like a big step, but... *shrug* Does anyone have thoughts on this?

Snupin Big Bang has finally started posting!!!! *flails* It's an art focus, so you need to go look at the art and the fic it inspired... First art is....Office Scene (it's a really lovely piece by littleblackbow) and the fic it inspired is... The Newcomer (by tossukka. Summary: “Do you have any idea how much gossip this is going to cause if it ever becomes public?”). I haven't been able to read the fic yet, but I'm so happy it's waiting for me. Friday night will be just perfect!

Hi all!

I've been starting to collect a few small stories to record over the winter months around Christmas time, and I was thinking that it might be fun to have a wee Holiday HP Podfic Fest. My thoughts were that authors could post past Christmas/Holiday/Winter stories that they have written and would be game for podficcing, and readers could snap them up. Additionally, readers can go out and find other Christmas/Holiday/Winter stories in HP fandom. Readers could do multiple smallish podfics, or one big podfic, or whatever suited their fancy. What do you think? Therefore, my first ever poll (on Dreamwidth).

I've never been all that into zombies, myself, but for those who are-CHECK IT OUT! (and write me some kind of awesome zombie fic that will change my mind!!!) Could be heaps of fun, and posting starts right before Halloween!!! Maybe I need to wrap my mind around zombies between now and then.

My ongoing quest to keep up with the fest-y world.....A fest-y update of the past week in HP Fests....

This is narrowed (as always) to my own peculiar brand of interests (i.e. anything that fits into my List o' Fests), but you can always refer to potterfests for every, small detail about what is going on in drabbles, het, multi-fandom, challenges, and everything else).
